This is a piece of footage which I designed, directed and performed for my showreel in October 1997at Skydive Sebastian in Florida. The idea is a James Bond style sequence, the inspiration for which was the opening sequence of Moonraker. There were many problems, not least of which was that the cameraman's fall rate was much slower than us in the air. This was partly due to tha fact that we were falling in an unstable position, with relatively tight clothing on. Skydiving cameraman Pieter Cronje overcame this problem by wearing over 35lbs of weight and a tight suit !
